And here comes the much awaited topic on which I discussed
with many of my friends’, colleagues and not much known public around…..
Flirting – and synonyms of it.
I know most of you reading this, will be wondering why is
this girl writing about such a genuine thing..
Ahem Ahem, ahhh…….. No
need to guess that you all know, very much and very well about it, Still as a
part of my analysis, I came to know that though its quiet a common thing but the
perspectives on it vary from person to person.
So why don’t I summarize things I felt were really good in here :-D
I got lot many definitions of it, and I picked up a random
one which attracted me on an instance. Here it is
“Flirting is the gentle art of making a one feel pleased
with him or her.”

But again "Flirting is the art of keeping your
affections and inwardness at a safe distance" Agreed??
For most of us it just comes as a part of our attitude! I
wouldn’t say flirting is bad, cuz…. even if people say, flirting is all
absurd thing, generally no one really mean it ;-)
Flirtation is something like attention without intention.
The whole world seeks attention so if someone gets it without much reason they
just feel good. And who don’t want to feel good huhh !!!!
Unintentional romance or teasing comes in day-today life
while an informal conversation at times we realize it as flirting or often it’s
ignored. People generally tend to say things which are straight lie, and the
other listening it, agrees with the fact but still, they continue with it .. cuz
this kind of fun and keeps the atmosphere active and light. Flirting; to be very frank is a
complete act of making serious impact of flattery on one or more person. More
often as few study says it’s a good way of improving confidence in people
around you.
Like in --
“ hey buddy you look awesome today” Now does it really
matter, if the person is really looking like Some Hollywood star no naah.
“ Wow what a smile; you look beautiful when you wear your
smile“
Say this to a person and he or she would definitely smile
for next 4 to 5 times they remember your compliments.
These are few positives let me include few negatives as
well, whenever we flirt ....as there is no measuring scale , which can calculate the amount
of flirt is less or more so, we need to keep a check on the circumstances ,
surroundings, marital status :P.. Mental status of your partners and of course
lot many more things.
One need to know with whom to flirt, how much to flirt and
when to :P.
Girl :“Dude you look awesome “
Boy : Oh thanks
Boy’s girlfriend : #$$%$^^%^% (keep a distance from him )

Flirtations are still, good when they are only soft and
verbal… simple and only for cheerful fun… as there are rules in everything few
rules even apply in here. Flirting should be avoided if the person is serious
about the relationship, be it a separate relation or a relation with you. One
should never take any risk with relationships. and in case you try moving beyond taking risk it wouldn't be flirting its called cheating :-/ Intimacies shouldn’t be part of flirting .. I
am not describing this further.... cuz am sleepy :-P
Concluding with few common lines we hear here and there ;-)
are at times good to use as well :D
“Oops! I lost my mobile number! Could I have yours?”
“Can’t wait until tomorrow, because I bet that you get more
and more beautiful everyday.”
“Did the sun just come out or did you just smile at me?”
“You remind me of my next girlfriend.”
“It’s okay ….. you don’t have to stop staring”
“Single and looking… anyone wanna be found?”
“Come live in my heart, and pay no rent.”
And my favourite one -----
question :ARE you trYing tO fliRt with me eh’ … ?
answer : Naah, it comes naturally!! Rather I would say you are beyond
flattery ;-)
