Quarter life - is that part of your life where you are in your 20's looking forward with loads of hope towards your future. gripping all that you have learnt till now ....
Criticising yourself for those moments which cud have been better....
and pleased with yourself for all those good moments...
Smiling on those moments that were blunders yet beloved :)
This particular stage is when you stand partially confident about what you want to do with the rest of your life. analyzing and understanding all your options......planning .. scheduling .... changing yourself or I would rather say improving yourself ... where you think is necessary
most of us are very lucky to suffer this kind of crisis for a very small period of time or some doesn't get a chance to understand the quarter life crisis at all .... (may b its cuz of their prior planning or pure luck.)
But others are more fortunate to understand this QLC to the extreme extent. May be for a bit too long... they get lot of chances to understand what exactly they want.....then they strive a lot, commit blunders ...and yes a new one every time. Then they learn something new...."who the hell care about results after all life is all about learning and I am in the process...".lol what you call “change in attitude”. Initially it may go towards pessimism but the pressure that built up takes it to a stage where the pessimism ends once for all and a positive approach towards everything comes from within.
Patience is the other biggest thing that one develops in this stage. And the final outcome whatever it is, it is the struggle that makes it the best. :)
Here in the whole context I am not just talking about a profession that a person starts seeking after his/her graduation. There are so many other things that add to the above it may be your thinking, prospective, behavior, priorities, preferences which changes you and transforms a local student to a social individual.
Our thought of "please daddy" for pocket money, embarrasses us.
The brands that we used to indulge earlier seem to be a waste of money.
Besides all of these, there are so many hard ships that a beginner faces every now n then. All of a sudden everyone starts asking you about the job or placement or marriage "So, what are u doing " or “what are your future plans” and we don't find a better way to skip it than replying "nothing".
The momentary happiness for our friends or acquaintances on their success turns to a tragic trauma. "God m still here” is one of the most popular quotes that bother them.
And the biggest one is the thought about your life partner, which keeps on provoking you at the wrong timings lol..
Life seems to be A TOTAL CRISIS....
Each and every moment, the thought of being unsuccessful keeps pinning you down ...but all you can do is to hold on and wait patiently. Cos surely there will be a tomorrow which would definitely end the quarter life crisis.
Guys, just keep working hard and do not lose your faith ...we all are talented.
All the best :-) :-P
