Finding Solace.?? or making life complicated ??

"If you think your whole life is going wrong
just because so much of it is going wrong,
then you're wrong.
Mostly when things go wrong,
they're meant to go wrong,
so we can outgrow what we have to outgrow."

I completely agree that life is generally not as simple as it appears to be. there are lots of ups and downs and so many tough situations we come across every now and then..

Most of us believe that life is all about learning. We learn from our mistakes.but then why most of us give up even before making few attempts more to find the solution?

suicide / drinking /smoking can never be a solution to the one who is actually intending to find a way out !!!

The other day, i was reading an article which said:

->Smoking kills 900,000 people every year in India, and unless corrective action is taken soon that number will increase to 1 million smoking-related deaths annually by 2010 and beyond

->Smoking may soon account for 20 percent of all male deaths and 5 percent of all female deaths among Indians around the age of 30

-> In India, smoking is the leading cause of preventable deaths. And a major part of the tobacco-smoking population of the country is the youth.

"It is truly remarkable that one single factor, namely smoking, which is entirely preventable, accounts for nearly one in 10 of all deaths in India,”

WELL, HERE I DEDICATE THE REST OF MY BLOG TO ALL THOSE YOUNG SMOKERS ....

so when enquired about the reasons for smoking... most youngsters say that the transition from adolescence to adulthood when they join college ,moving away from parents and living on their own, they feel liberated and totally empowered to make/ take decisions .there is an urge to try new things and this urge is very high during this age so most of them smoke their first cigarette in the college.....

and few others follow what would i call "social smoking "( smoking occasionally) because they believe that occasional smoking is of no harm which actually makes them prone to the addiction

...........some smoke because their friends smoke!! or because they feel that cool factor increases with smoke.

while some others have so called intense reasons such as "cigarette is a stress buster"
"i am finding solutions to almost all of my problems" and "i am finding solace from this hectic world", "cigarette relaxes our mind from this peer pressure" being the ther set of reasons. so, are they actually reducing pressure or increasing the complexities in their lives?..the thing is, smoking never ends any ones problem. it is that people try to forget few things temporarily.

when you smoke,
you reduce your life by 20 to 25 years!!
fine, if you want to die young, this is the best way to realise your ambition. but it is totally disgusting to suffer with bad-breath ( god knows why people like smelling like an ash-tray), damaged teeth, all respiratory problems, poor lung functioning, slower growth, poor physical fitness, heart diseases (strokes), lung cancer, emotional and psychological unbalance ...not only this Smoking is also associated with some more risky behaviors such as poor eye sight, drug abuse ,engaging in unprotected sex etc. smoking has a direct negative effect on sexuality of men. smoking also causes hair fall and blindness
so u die young as an old man.

life is really essential. every thing is possible only if you are alive. give a chance to your self and quit smoking.
it may not be that easy at the early stages but yes, it is you who need to take steps for the betterment of your life..

okay okay!! now stop cursing me :P

life is to live....
and as it is written on most of the cigarette packs " LIVE LIFE KING SIZE "

:) cheers to life .
